My parents are so supportive and loving - and they have taught me so much! I remember my father always teaching me new things whether it was doing yard work or hard labor around the house or taking me to the skating rink to work every day all summer, in the office and on the floor as a skate guard (I was dad's little girl in a tom boy kinda way). He taught me responsibility and how to accomplish each goal in life. My mom taught my whole family how to be so loving and caring and to always be there for one another. I was always inseparable with my mother, she made me into the person I am today. I definately got my cooking skills from her since I've learned to master her recipes and she also taught me how to make my grandmother's special recipe, Rice Timbali! I am convinced it is what really won over Tommy's heart! I'm so thankful for how I was raised and thank my parents for everything they've done (and continue to do) for me. I love you both so much!
My Mom and Dad are the best parents you could ask for. They put up with me as a wild child, then helped push me to strive for the things I wanted to do in life, like fulfill my career as an NYPD Officer. I put them through a lot but they have always been there for me throughout my whole life both good times and bad. Now they are so thrilled to see me getting married to Gina and we are probably closer now than we ever were. Thanks Mom & Dad for all your love and support over the years! I love you.
It was a popular time for birthday's amongst friends and family in late January, so our families and friend Muff helped Tommy dupe Gina into thinking it was her dear friend's surprise 25th birthday party. They even had her cousin ask if Gina would take her to the party! Sort of expecting a special night for our Muffenoodle, but Gina truly had no idea how special! We should begin by saying that the surprise was really for Gina, and she couldn't have been more shocked. Most of our friends and family were there to celebrate and it Gina really thought it couldn't get any better. It turned out to be the most special, memorable night of our lives. We had talked about marriage in the past, but Gina was convinced Tommy wasn't ready yet to take the plunge! We all knew he loved me, but was it ever the biggest shock when he proposed! As everyone gathered around Gina to sing Happy Birthday, the waiter brought the cake out that said "Happy 30th Birthday Gina!," she didn't even read the writing on the cake (the language is just assumed, right?) WRONG. Somewhere between those giant candles and Happy Birthday, it said "Will you marry me?" After everyone yelled to Gina to read the cake, she realized what it really said, burst into tears of joy and was also bit of humiliated ha! But nonetheless, it turned out to be the most perfect night followed by a vacation to Niagara Falls to do some snowboarding and sightseeing and tickets to see Chris Young in concert. The best week of our lives so far. We also debate to this day whether or not I got the yes word out. Either way, we're getting married! WOOOOO!
We met in 2014 at a birthday party in Greenwich, Connecticut. It was a great night together but we lost touch soon after. We then ran into eachother at a friends house for the 4th of July, yet somehow we kept losing touch until finally we bumped into eachother AGAIN in early 2015. We decided it was no longer a coincidence that we kept seeing eachother like this hitting it off over and again each time, so we planned a day to go snowboarding with friends the same weekend. This was our "official first date," that actually turned into a five hour car ride in an ice storm. We spent those hours listening to country music and Ed Sheeran radio, while Tommy was catching french fries I threw into his mouth. Anyways, we had a blast though we never made to the mountain for snowboarding becasue of the rain. However, we followed up with plans for dinner....then plans to see The Wedding Ringer for date #2 and so on. The whole two weeks of seeing each other was going really well, but both our worlds were turned upside down when Tommy was in a tragic accident leaving Gina's house. Needless to say it was a rough road from there. As time went by it became harder and harder to stay in touch with Gina's hectic schedule and Tommy's recovery but, fast forward six months, we bumped into eachother again and there were fireworks! There's a lot more to this story but much too much to articulate....point is, we've been together ever since and 15 months later we're engaged to be married...yay!
I grew up in Bronx, NY, was the only son of the three children born to Big Tom and Debbie Clark. As a kid, I was really into sports - especially baseball. I have always been an achiever; be it sports or professional life or any other field in my life. I attended Concordia College for my associates and shortly after took the test to become a Police Officer (like father like son). I work in NYC and love what I do. I enjoy life to the fullest & love my fiancée and my family and of course two dogs. Gina is the most amazing woman I know and I can't wait for our wedding day! After we're married, we plan to stay in NY and ideally find a place to live somewhere in Westchester to start a family of our own.
I was born in New York City to my father Ron and my mother Anita. Ron was the proud owner of many businesses in Bronx and NYC and Anita has always been the family manager. I am the youngest of eight children (six girls & 2 boys) and we're all very close. After high school I attended college at Westchester Community but also jumped right in to the workforce at 18, since I am a Jill of all trades. I now work in Manhattan with one of my sisters/maid of honor/best friend and I couldn't be happier. I love spending time with Tommy (duh) my family, friends and soon to be in-laws, not to mention this precious little perfect specimen named Master Woofy & Rambo (the family hounds of the Letizia's and Clark's). Throughout the years I have always had a second job bartending at various places including Rockwells in Pelham, NY, (that's where I met Tommy for the very first time! - more on that later.) In my free time I enjoy cooking, eating, vacationing, going to concerts and broadway shows, listening to country music & watching movies both new and old. Lately, I've been consumed with wedding planning - I never imagined what effort goes in to planning one perfect day but also a vacation with family and friends I hold nearest and dearest to my heart! If I did anything right in my life it was when I gave me heart to my Thomas J., he means the entire world to me, and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him!
Ginamarie Letizia and Thomas Clark launch their personal wedsite at www.ginamarieandtommy.com
If you're planning on spending some time in Aruba when you come in for the wedding, we highly recommend taking the ATV tour to the natural pool, located in a very remote area in east Aruba. It is formed by rock and volcanic stone circles and you can dive right in!
The sunset in Aruba is among the most beautiful in the world! Enjoy picture-perfect views by going to Amuse Sunset Restaurant, Aruba Sunset Cruises or our personal favorite Faro Blanco Restaurant.
Welcome to our wedsite! We recently got engaged and are now in the process of planning our wedding! We've created this wedsite as a fun, convenient, and special way for friends and family who are both near and far to participate and celebrate with us. We hope you'll use it to get to know us better and keep up-to-date on our future plans.
Here you can read about how we met, meet our families, and RSVP to wedding events that are in the works. We've also included some fun stuff like a poll, a gallery for viewing photo albums, and a way for you to leave us a note in our virtual guestbook!
We are so grateful for all the positive influences in our lives! Thank you to all our friends and family for your love and support over the years. Thanks for sharing our joy!
